This website, cpon.com (the Site), is operated by Agile Tech, UAB, a private limited company registered in Lithuania (company code 304691080, VAT ID LT100011207013), of Ukmergės g. 364-49, LT-14188 Vilnius, Lithuania (we, us). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@cpon.com.
The Site publishes coupons for consumer gadgets. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not sell anything on the Site or process payments. The personal data we process is limited to what is described below.
1. What data we process, and why
The email you put on a coupon. When you enter your email address on a coupon, we use it to send you the coupon price you unlocked and related offers for that product. With it we keep the product, the price and its currency, the time and the language of the coupon page. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any of our emails or using the unsubscribe link in them. We keep the address until you withdraw your consent.
Server and content delivery logs. As with almost every website, our hosting and content delivery infrastructure (Amazon Web Services, including Amazon CloudFront) records technical log entries when pages are requested: your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser information, the page you came from, the response, the request's identifier and your country code (see below). We use these logs to operate and secure the Site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the Site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our web server's logs are deleted after about ten weeks at most. The content delivery logs are stored separately, with Amazon Web Services in Stockholm, Sweden, and are deleted after 13 months.
Your country. Amazon CloudFront works out from your IP address which country you are in and passes the country code to our web server. We use it to show information for your country on the page you requested, the official store's price for your country and the link to the store's checkout for your country, and it is written into the server's log entry described above and deleted with it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing information that is correct for your country and in running and securing the Site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email you send us. If you contact us at the address above, we process your email address, name and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle the matter.
We do not use the data above to make automated decisions about you, and we do not sell personal data.
2. Cookies and tracking
The Site sets no cookies and uses no similar technologies, such as local storage or session storage: nothing is stored on your device. That is why there is no cookie notice to accept or decline.
The Site loads no third party advertising, analytics or tracking tags, and no pixels, social media plugins, embedded videos, fonts or pictures from other websites: every file a page loads comes from www.cpon.com. The small script on our pages runs in your browser to make the page work, for example to count down to midnight or to search the brand list. It stores nothing. On a coupon page it asks our own server for the official store's current price of that product for your country, and it sends nothing else.
If we ever add tools that use cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy before they go live and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
3. Who receives data
Personal data is processed on our behalf by Amazon Web Services: hosting and content delivery, including the technical logs described in Section 1.
A coupon leads to a purchase at the product's official store; for every brand on the Site that is www.techfibrr.com, an online shop that we also operate. The shop's own privacy policy (www.techfibrr.com/privacy-policy/) applies there. The link to the store carries only the product, the page language, your country and two fixed markers showing that you came from the Site. Whenever you follow a link to another website, your browser tells that website only that you came from www.cpon.com.
4. International transfers
Our web server runs in the European Union, in Paris, France, and the content delivery logs are kept in Stockholm, Sweden. Amazon CloudFront answers requests from locations around the world, so if you visit from outside the European Economic Area, a location near you handles your request. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. For transfers from the United Kingdom, a UK adequacy regulation or the UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses applies.
5. How long we keep data
The email you put on a coupon is kept until you withdraw your consent. Our web server's logs are deleted after about ten weeks at most, and the content delivery logs after 13 months. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry. The Site sets no cookies, so nothing is kept on your device.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR (and the UK GDPR if you are in the United Kingdom) you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (VDAI); in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office; or the authority of the country where you live.
7. Age
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change providers. The current version is always available on this page. If a change is significant, we will flag it prominently on the Site.
